Australian People and their lifestyle
On a surface of 7 692 024 square
kilometres only 20,4 million people live. The most people are white, but
400 000 are Aborigines.
Outback:
Australia is settled unevenly, because
in the big cities you can find more/ better jobs and in the outback you can only
work on a farm. If you lived in the outback, your best friends would be your
family and the animals on the farm. The airplane is the only possibility to have
contact with the other settlements. For kids the “School of Air” ,in the outback
is the only chance for education.
School:
Australia has compulsory school
attendance, but it is not so serious like in Europe. Australian kids starts with
the Preschool, then comes the Primary School and last but not least the High
School. An important thing for the everyday life at the schools are the
volunteer staffer (parents) at the schools in Australia. Almost on all schools
they have to wear uniforms.
Work:
For the Australians work is not really
an important thing. It`s only to make money. The most people are farmers in the
outback, but in big cities the work like surf teachers, they work in a office,
as scientists or in a restaurant.
Free time:
Australians live for the free time with
the family. Often they go to the beach or they go in the water, but they also do
so much sport, e.g. something like surfing, sailing, fishing or swimming, too.
They often have a long weekend because the holidays are at the beginning at the
week.
Society:
The Australians are very tolerant.The
motto of the Australians is “ No worries!”, so the have a relaxed
life!

of other Christian faith. 1,5 people profess to the Islam, only 0,3 have belief
in the Aborigine- Religion, so it is the minority in Australia.

celebrities, too, for example: Kylie Minogue , Mel Gibson ,Hugh Jackman or
princess Mary from Denmark.
My
conclusion:
I think, that the Australians have a
good life. It is an easy lifestyle, but sometimes, in my opinion, it is easy for
example the school education.
