Australian Nature
Australia
can be divided in three big territories (Western, Eastern and
Outback). The lofty plain of the western plateau is a dusty region.
There
are many deserts like the Great Sandy-, Gibson-, Great Victoria and
Nullabor Desert. There are also many mountains like Uluru and smaller
bally like Mac Donell Rangers.
Very
popular (for tourists) is the Ningallo Reef because it is the biggest
fringing reef in the world. It is one of the best places to see the
whale sharks and to swim with them. Also important is the Shark Bay.
The water is clear turqouise and is the home of whales, turtles,
dolphins and manta rays.
The
second biggest territory is the in east and it is also a dusty area
are like the Western Territory. Simpson desert is the most dusty
region of Australia and it is placed in the Eastern Territory. But
there is the biggest river system (named Murray-Purling) of
Australia. The Great Dividing Range (region) is impressive because it
bestrides with 3200km from the northern to the southern of the
Eastern Territory.
Also
exciting are the snowy mountains of the ralm. The biggest mountain of
Australia is called Big Ben and is also the unique burning mountain
in the east. Big Ben is 2735m high and stands in an empty place.
In
the Northern Territory the biggest national park is Australia's
Kakadu. Millions of migratory birds are in the wetland and many
crocodiles are sunbathing on the banks of the river.
The
third territory is called Outback. Outback are regions of Australia
which are far from civilization. Nearly three-quarters of Australia's
count them. The most parts of western and central Australia's are
empty of humans. So there shall operate pasture economy. 130mil.
Sheeps and 25mil. Beef are living there. In Australia there are more
than 20000 native plants. 85% of them are growing in the outback.
