Roadtrip Part I

Bielefeld, the 20^th of July

Hey Guys,

We gonna tell you what is our plan for the trip about we write, here in our Blog.

Bea, my best friend and me we are going to do road trips through Australia.

About us? We are 19 years old, from Germany and have just finished school. Now we want to see the world and our first stop is Australia. We just booked a flight from Frankfurt to Sydney for the 30^th of August.

Rosedale, the 3^rd of September

So now we are in Rosedale, because we want to buy a car here for little money and our first trip starts here!

Rosedale, the 4^th of September

Hey there,

today we bought our car, it’s just an old car, but we can drive it… hopefully!

Now we’re going to start! We will write to you when we are in the next big city, because we have no mobiles or something like that! We really want to enjoy our trip and just are by ourselves without internet and facebook and and and…

Our route is from Rosedale to Hastings Point. It goes over Canberra, Sydney and Ballina!

Canberra, the 7^th of September

Soo,

Now we have finished our first stage and now we are in Canberra. We have left 3 whole days in the car, which we call Oscar… Today we are going to meet some new people maybe in a club and having much fun! We saw the most beautiful night sky ever! It was yesterday night when we lied on the load area. It was amazing! We listened to an old love song on the radio and we felt as if we were in a movie! So see you soon, chicks. Gonna write when we are in Sydney.

Sydney, the 16 of September

Now we are in Sydney, I think this is the greatest city we have ever seen. We arrived at a big harbour and parked Oscar near a beach. At our first day we begun a surf course and met some new people. They showed us a new club and we had great days in Sydney.
We rent a room and stayed the next four days in Sydney, We had a wonderful time there, finished our surf course and we went shopping and had a lot of fun. We miss Germany and our families and friends a bit but the Aussies are very friendly, they want to learn much about our culture and a boy invited us to a trip with him and his friends to a beachparadise, where you can find the best waves in Australia like he said, but we don’t know. We met Riley on the beach after our first Surf lesson, he is a very good surfer and lives here in Sydney. Our next stop is in Ballina.

Ballina, the 20^th of September

This is our last stop before we arrive in Hastings Point, where we are going to meet our friends, who we met in our exchange year, here in Australia. We had a great time on the road again, we made a stop on a gas station and meet a hot guy, called Brian. He asked us if we would take him with us to Ballina and of course we said yes! It was great fun. He told us a lot about the Australian culture and the life of the Aussies. He wants to accompany us to Hastings Point and wants to travel around with us all over Australia and we think it would be great to see Australia like a real Australians and to see the best parts from here. That is why we are happy to travel with him. Ballina is very beautiful, it is full of beautiful houses and of tourists, which we don´t like that much, but it is like in Sydney and Canberra. It has a very, very beautiful beach and it looks like in paradise. (This photo is not made by me)
