Roadtrip Part II

Hey guys!

My best friend Juliette and I have already finished our school. And how our parents have promised to us, they would offer us a road trip through Australia and we decided which Route we want to take.

We took the Pacific Coast Route.

In the next days we will drive about 780 km along the coast and finish our trip at the Golden Coast.

Yesterday we arrived to Australia and after the long flight our rented car has already waited for us at the airport. We rent it in the internet and now we are able to start our coast route.

We drove 2 hours along the highway and came to Edmundi.

It was luck that it was wednesday when we arrived. When we came into the city everywhere were coulurful and little street shops because of the market on saturday and wednesday. We did not buy a lot but we met a man who drew us with our car for very little money.

We visited the world's largest ginger factory at Yandina and there was ginger ICE CREAM !
We bought a lot for our mates at home-

After that we spent the night in an old B&B but it was very nice.

 

20 minutes from our B&B is the city Noosa, which was our next stop. It is a very nice coastal town.

There we went to the shopping street and bought some nice clothes and the rest of the day we spent at the lovely beach.

 

Our next stop was Brisbane

We drove160 km to Brisbane.

I am not able to describe this city, it is incredible. We visited the Modern Art Museum and at the evening. We had a wonderful view while we sat in the car and watched the skyline of Brisbane.

It was a wonderful day.

After our night in Brisbane we drove a long time to the  favorite place in our route. We call it our paradise:

The Gold Coast. We made a course for surfing and spent 3 days there, it was very nice. We met a lot of nice people and had a time that we will never forget. Everyday it was hot and we were swimming and at the beach and everything seemed perfect.

At our last day we took a trip to Mount Tamborine, the hinterland of the Gold Coast we have seen rainforests, waterfalls and creeks there. Then we had to leave Oscar and stay in a B&B and take the flight at the next morning, it was a hard goodbye to Australia, because this week with my best friend has changed a lot, It was a wonderful experience that I made there. I would really like to come back.
